  • Click to exand this section Set up an URL forwarding for my domain

    1. In your account, go to My Domains > Manage my domains
    2. Click on the domain to be redirected
    3. Click on URL Forward and then on Add an URL forward
    4. In the field Host, type the hostname of the source url (e.g. www)
    5. In the field Forward To, type the destination url (www.example.com)
    6. In the field Into a frame,
        - select 'permanent redirect (301)' to display the destination url
        - select 'in a frame' to display the source url
    7. Click on Add

    It will take up to 1-2 hours for your forwarding to take effect.

    Important: This option is only available if the domain is configured on EuroDNS' nameservers (ns1.eurodns.com / ns2.eurodns.com).

  • Click to exand this section Change the nameservers of a domain

    1. Create a name server profile
    - In your account, go to item My Profiles > Nameservers profiles
    - Click Add a new profile
    - Enter the name of the profile and fill in the name servers then click Save

    2. Apply a name server profile
    - Go to My domains > Manage my domains
    - click on the concerned domain
    - Click on Edit (next to Nameservers)
    - Select the name server profile
    - Click on View profile then click Apply profile

    It will take up to 24-48 hours for your new name servers to be propagated worldwide. In order to avoid zone check errors and website interruption, configure first your domain on the new name servers.

  • Click to exand this section Add/modify DNS records

    1. In your account, go to My Domains > Manage my domains
    2. Click on the domain to configure
    3. Click on DNS Zone
    4. Add/edit the DNS records
    5. Save settings

    The new records usually take effect within 24 hours. Note: this option is only available if the domain is configured on EuroDNS nameservers (ns1.eurodns.com / ns2.eurodns.com).

    1. In your account, go to My Domains > Manage my domains
    2. Click on the domain to configure
    3. Click on DNS Zone
    4. In the field Add DNS Records, click on MX
    5. Enter the priority value (10, 20, 30, 40 or 50)
    6. Enter the hostname (type '@' to use strictly domain-based emails)
    7. Enter the mail server then save settings

  • Click to exand this section Can I add SPF records?

    SPF resource record is not offered at the moment.

    However you can define your SPF in a TXT record. Example:
    @   TXT   v=spf1 a:example.com -all

    - '@' is the hostname
    - 'TXT' is the resource record
    - 'v=spf1 a:example.com -all' is the SPF syntax

  • Click to exand this section Apply a DNS record profile

    1. In your account, go to My Domains > Manage my domains
    2. Select the domains
    3. In the action options underneath, select Update DNS Records
    4. Select the DNS record profile then apply it

    Note: this option is available for domains configured on EuroDNS' name servers (ns1.eurodns.com / ns2.eurodns.com)

  • Click to exand this section Export a zone file (BIND format)

    1. In your account, go to My Domains > Manage my domains
    2. Select the desired domain
    3. Click on DNS zone
    4. Click on Export zone file

  • Click to exand this section Can I set a PTR record?

    PTR record is set by the hosting provider. We invite you to contact your current hostmaster to configure it.

  • Click to exand this section Order the ProDNS name server service

    1. In your EuroDNS account go to the left menu “EuroDNS Services“ and click on “Add ProDNS Pack”

    2. Select your ProDNS option

    3. Choose the domain name to be served by ProDNS in the field “Attach this subscription to:”

    4. You can choose a preconfigured DNS record profile or create a new one in the field “DNS records profile:”

    5. Click on “Proceed”

    6. Select the duration in the dropdown menu.

    7. If you do not have any voucher code, please ignore the field “Add voucher code”

    8. Click on “Proceed to payment”

    9. Enter your credit card details and check the box “I have read and accept EuroDNS terms and conditions”

    10. Click on “Submit”

    Your domain will be then updated to ProDNS name servers and, when the update is completed, you can configure the DNS zone via your EuroDNS account on:

    My Domains > Manage my domains > click on the domain link > DNS zone

  • Click to exand this section Configure E-mail forwarding


    1. Log in onto your EuroDNS account.
    2. Go to "My Domains" and click on "Manage my domains".
    3. Click on the domain concerned.
    4. Click on "Mail forwarding".
    5. Click on "Single rule".
    6. Enter the user part of the email address you want to forward from in the "From" part.
    7. Enter the complete email address you want to forward to in the "To" part.
    8. Click on "Add".
    9. Click on "Save settings".

    The Email forwarding function requires the configuration of a given MX record. The configuration is automatically done but since this is a DNS change, it can take up to 24 hours to propagate throughout the whole Internet. Please test in 24 hours after configuration.

    Note: this option is available for domains configured on EuroDNS' name servers (ns1.eurodns.com / ns2.eurodns.com)

  • Click to exand this section Configure catchall (e-mail)

    1. Log in onto your EuroDNS account.
    2. Go to "My Domains" and click on "Manage my domains".
    3. Click on the domain concerned.
    4. Click on "Mail forwarding".
    5. Click on "Catch All".
    6. Enter the complete email address you want to forward to in the "To" part.
    7. Click on "Add".
    8. Click on "Save settings".

    The catchall function requires the configuration of a given MX record. The configuration is automatically done but since this is a DNS change, it can take up to 24 hours to propagate throughout the whole Internet. Please test in 24 hours after configuration.

    Note: this option is available for domains configured on EuroDNS' name servers (ns1.eurodns.com / ns2.eurodns.com)

    If you configure catchall, all email destined to the concerned domain will be forwarded to the email address you configured. Please be advised that the configuration of catchall implies receiving possible higher volumes of spam emails. If you want to reduce the spam traffic, it is always better to configure e-mail forwarding instead.
